Greetings friends. I want to share with you a special occasion. A Flicker in the Water recently reached a milestone of sorts…..Did you know one of the most highly regarded works of American literature, Moby Dick sold 3,000 copies during the lifetime of it’s author Herman Melville. Melville never got to see the extraordinary heights his novel would achieve. Whaling which once had been a necessary commercial industry was on its way out when Melville first published Moby Dick. It was only many years later in a re-print that Moby Dick became accepted as the classic we all know today. By recently surpassing it’s 1,600 sale A Flicker in the Water in just under three years has sold more than half of the number of copies that Moby Dick sold in it’s first edition. Thank you all.
