It’s not everyday you get to meet the famous author but that is exactly what happened to me today at my book signing at Barnes & Noble in Ft. Myers. Well sort of. You see this gentleman pictured with me happens to live in Ft. Myers and had just finished competing in the Ernest Hemingway look-alike contest held annually in Key West. He couldn’t have been more gracious. It was his first year in the contest. I told him next year 1st prize is an autographed copy of The Old Man and the Sea & an autographed copy of A Flicker in the Water. No word on whether or not he will be entering the Bob Gonzalez look-alike contest.
