My Author Journey
My writing career began with a rather inauspicious start. My 7th grade class was tasked with us having to write our autobiographies. Being a 7th grader I thought wow this is really cool and not as of yet having much if any life experiences to draw from (or so I thought) I began the assignment by writing “My Life Started When I Was Born” prompting the teacher to write back scribbling in the margins “Most Lives Do”. Later on during my college years I had some professors tell me that I wrote very well. Then I would tell them my writing journey started in the 7th grade.I have always enjoyed books about nature, history, sports & competition. As well as many of the Classics. I also enjoy writing poems. The writing process for me is like planting a seed & watching that seed grow into a tree. By watering the words on the page you can see the roots taking shape. Watching that tree grow on your page is incredibly rewarding.
