Christopher Columbus remains one of history’s most eduring & unfortunately controversial figures. My view is he was a courageous often times misunderstood leader of men.
A Flicker in the Water talks about some of the extreme conditions he & his crew faced in coming to the “New World” which they mistakenly believed was what we know today as Asia.
It took the 3 ships 5 weeks to cross the Atlantic & it was anything but a comfortable ride.
